Shafa HMS — hospital management system built on FHIR and HL7
A hospital management system built interoperable by design, covering clinical, operational and financial workflows under one record.
Shafa HMS digitizes hospital operations end to end — outpatient queues, inpatient admissions and ward allocation, operation theatre, emergency, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, blood bank, store and inventory, billing and revenue, and accounts and payroll. The operations dashboard gives duty staff a live picture: OPD queue, bed occupancy by ward, procedures in progress, revenue for the day and a running floor feed of critical events.
Interoperability is structural rather than an afterthought. The system is built on HL7 FHIR R4 for clinical data exchange, ICD-11 for diagnosis coding and LOINC for laboratory coding, making it ready for the DGHS Health MIS, the National Health Data Repository and the Unique Health ID framework. One system, one record — across every department in the hospital.
