Edu Chain is a blockchain-enabled digital credentialing platform used by universities and regulatory bodies to issue academic documents that cannot be forged or altered. It replaces the manual work of printing, posting and answering verification requests, reducing cost and turnaround while improving security for the institution.
The platform is built in three parts. The Publisher lets an institution automate, manage and track issuance, with documents customised to its own templates, branding and colours. The Academic Passport gives students a secure digital wallet to receive, store and manage their credentials. The Verification Portal lets an employer or third party confirm a document instantly. Over 500,000 credentials have been issued through the platform, with adopters including Abu Dhabi University, TDRA, Higher Colleges of Technology, Canadian University Dubai and Liwa College.
